Sustainable planning

An ambition

Since 1977 France Terre has consistently chosen to add value to its operations with the landscaping quality of the building plots. Land development means more than just dividing up the space, it means contributing to the establishment of a way of life. Providing living space to suit families has always been our objective. The 600 sites developed by France Terre have given the Group the opportunity to develop real expertise and to go beyond current standards for environmental protection.

Awards

As a result, France Terre was awarded the "Qualité Aménagement" (development quality) prize and the Arturbain prize for respect for the environment for its operations in the Square Ambroise Paré in Manissieux and La Vinalière in Le Cellier. Environmental quality is not an objective but a tool in the service of quality of life.

The experience of our staff, our constant monitoring of technical and regulatory developments and our close links with innovative companies enable France Terre to guarantee local authorities and future residents developments that respect their environment.

Procedures

France Terre is currently involved in a process of certification of its development operations based on its skills and experience. Three objectives have particular importance:

  • enabling the effective management of travel and accessibility by making the site consistent with the surrounding area, favouring walking and cycling routes, controlling atmospheric pollution and limiting the use of the car;
  • water management involving regulating rainwater, saving drinking water and controlling pollution;
  • improving the treatment of the landscape and respect for biodiversity by analysing the existing landscape, identifying areas of biological interest and integrating existing concentrations of plant life into the composition.
